TEDx Talk is a showcase of speakers presenting great, well-informed ideas.
AFSB was able to stage its own TEDx event. This provided a safe space for students and teachers to be heard, understood, and supported.
Mohammed Hatamian, an eighth grader, talked about how his passion for digital music fueled his desire to persist. Mohammed demonstrated how he produces music and showed the audience sample of his work.
Sofia Renfreo, a fifth grader, shared how her creative imagination has transported her to various cities. She recognized how drawing is calming for her. Sofia appreciates that her mom fueled her desire for art.
Ms. Tsvety, AFSB Middle-School English teacher, shared how she has embraced her global citizenship, having been in various parts of the world. She showed us the importance of being aware of one's roots while appreciating our differences with others.
This event allowed us to connect, learn, and grow together!
